Kevin Ng, your passionate and enthusiastic family dentist, was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, went to college in Toronto before moving to New York City and eventually settling in the Windy City to start Molar City in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Ng decided to further advance his expertise by completing a competitive General Practice Residency at the very prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital. During his training, he received advanced experience in all aspects of dentistry including oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, restorative, pediatric and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ng also provided comprehensive care for patients with complex medical history and special needs.

All of the positive reviews are true. If you’re nervous about the dentist- this is your place. I ALMOST FELL ASLEEP DURING A ROOT CANAL!!!!!! I came in with sooooo much anxiety due to my previous experiences with dentists & I’m excited to finish getting work done with Molar City. Recommending this place to everyone I know. What a wonderful experience! Staff was welcoming when I first arrived and it's always a plus when your appointment starts on time. Carmen and Dr. Huynh made me feel super comfortable and thoroughly explained every process. The equipment is cool too! You get to see your X-rays/pictures during the exam, which I think is neat. It helps you get a better understanding of what's going on. The best part is that you get to pick whatever show or movie you want to watch while being in the chair. Makes you kind of forget what's actually going on lol. Can't wait for my next appointment!

I was looking for a new dentist that was close to home and had seen Molar City while riding the Brown Line into work, did some quick Google research and made an appointment. Very friendly place! Dr Renee makes me feel so calm even though dentist offices usually make me very anxious. I recently got a root canal there which I was very nervous about, and their team worked with me to hep me calm down and make sure I wasn’t in pain at all. We set me up with Netflix on the tv above my head to keep me distracted which I appreciated. They also have free waters and other drinks available and are pet friendly!! I have loved my experience with them so far and would highly recommend to others.
